I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Cupertino, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
I applied on Dec. 17th through Craigslist. I received a call for a phone interview on January 10th and then asked to come in for an in-person interview on January 12th. I had a final panel interview consisting of 7 people on January 17th and offered the job in person the next day on January 18th. Everyone was very nice and made me feel at ease during the panel interview. After putting in my resignation at my last job, the process took almost 2 months.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Orlando, FL) in Sep 2015
Interview
This was a preliminary phone interview. I was contacted by a store assistant at 7 pm on a weeknight. It lasted about 10 minutes and discussed my employment history as well as my commitment to the environment and Whole Foods core values. I have applied before but this was the first time they responded. I had the impression (don't know why) that I was being called to fill a quota of first round applicants and wasn't really under consideration.
