I applied when the store first opened and due to the overwhelming number of applicants, never got a response. Months later, I decide to walk in and talk to the Team Leader of Guest Services of which is the department I applied for. I expressed my determination to work for Whole Foods and was met with a willingness to give a chance at being employed. I was scheduled an interview with the assistant team leader as the Team leader was sick, but was just as personable and easy to talk to. The interview went smooth and was met with a smile the whole time I talked. I went in the day I was supposed to get a call by coincidence, and was told I was spot by the Team Leader who worked with HR in getting me officially hired and working as soon as possible. Make sure you know about organic products and standards if you work in customer service/ guest services! that was a deal sealer,
