Wolters Kluwer interview questions

I had two discussion with the hiring manager about the position and to see if I would be a good fit. After it, I also discussed with their manager for approval. I received an offered for a contractor/intern position, that eventually got turned into a full time position.

I applied to an open marketing role at WK and had a recruiter reach out a couple weeks later. I had a phone interview which went well and we went over the next steps in the hiring process. I was told to expect an invitation to a first round video interview. The recruiter told me the hiring manager would reach out to schedule the next interview with me. I heard nothing for 3 weeks after that, before receiving an automated rejection email. I was very surprised by this when I had been explicitly told I’d be moving forward. The whole experience was a little disorganized and unprofessional. To WK - I’d recommend not promising next steps to candidates if you aren’t sure how you’re going to proceed, especially in this job market when interviews are difficult to come by in the first place.
