I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Workday (Davis, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Met the recruiter at a campus career fair. Applied for the Integration Consultant role in Palo Alto as part of the Generation Workday program. Was contacted immediately after the fair and had an interview that day. The interview was really laid back and comfortable and much more of a conversation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Workday (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2020
Interview
Long process starting with a screening with the recruiter, then a screening with one of the two hiring manager, then a screening with the other hiring manager, then a panel interview with four people. The process wasn’t so bad but the offer was low compared to market and I felt misled about the stock piece of the offer. The stock was brought up as so many units, I had to ask a lot of questions to get an actual monetary value of the stock, which was about 1/4 the value I was led to believe.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Several people asked about diversity and some of the questions were a bit sensitive to race, kind of awkward. The technical questions were pretty straightforward integrations questions to gauge your experience.
