My first interview with the recruiter was great! But the follow-up interview with the hiring managers felt more like an interrogation than an interview making me feel like my previous experience was not good enough. It was a 45-minute interview with just grilling me on my experience like it was not real or something. I have 12 years of experience in the Tech industry. I was told that there would be at least 2-3 more interviews, I decided to opt out of the interview process because I got a taste of how the work culture would be on that team with just that one interview and decided it was not for me. They could have given me a Tech Test or a Situation type question to understand my work culture and experience. Most Tech people are not great about talking about themselves in a lot of detail but they can get the job done. They seemed disappointed that I did not have experience with a particular ADP tool because I worked at ADP. ADP has many products, do your research before the interview! Making me feel like my experience was worthless. This was not the work culture for me, so I opted out of the interview.
