Question 1
Describe past experiences and how you addressed challenges in solving a problem
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Xylem (Brisbane) in Jul 2020
Interview
Professional and well structured. The process was outlined clearly and followed. I was provided some background to the business then what the role would entail, before being asked a series of behavioural and technical questions
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Xylem in Aug 2024
Interview
Straight Forward, phone screening, meeting the manager then an in person interview.
Where the negative side comes in was how little urgency and how little communication there was. Was told after my final interview that I should hear in a week and it was crickets so I reached out and was told by the talent acquisition he was supposed to have a meeting with the Manager that week which was now two weeks from my last interview. It has since been 3 weeks and no word of anything. It should not take this long for a rejection or an offer.
Almost forgot to mention I was ghosted for my phone screening and wasn't reached out to until a week later
