I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Yale University in Sep 2012
Interview
The interview was brief including a quick tour of the facility and introduction to other members of the group as faculty at Yale are quite busy. Since the turnover is constant with most people staying in one position for 1-2 years there isn't as much vetting as would be in a large company where the turnover is much lower.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Yale University (New Haven, CT)
Interview
It was a waste of time. Interviewer was not interested in asking my previous job experience, but on what a degree that has nothing related to the job description. The job description does not match with the post.
Pretty straightforward interview experience overall, with clear questions and a well-structured process. The environment was professional yet welcoming, which made the conversation feel comfortable, smooth, and engaging, allowing for open discussion and a positive overall impression.
The process was fair, but very drawn out. Often times I had to wait a month in between interviews. I think the current administration was affecting the process and they were up front about the delays, but it made the process harder than needed.
