I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Year Up United (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
Applied online and had a call with the recruiter a week later. She then set up a call with the hiring manager a week later. He asked me questions and barely let me speak. He spoke for about 45 min about himself, his achievements, his department and barely about the role.
The initial interview was by phone and it was a very informative and straightforward process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist was knowledgeable and transparent regarding the needs of the site.
1st phone interview with recruiter, 2nd phone interview with hiring manager. 3rd and 4th interviews onsite with various team members. The process was extremely drawn out, 3 months for a position at this level was too much with weeks between each interview. At the final interview I was told that the process took longer than planned since they "had" to find a diversity of candidates to fill out the final interviews.
The leadership team lacked professionalism during the onsite interviews.
