I applied for a job at Yelp's Arizona office. My recruiter was based out of San Francisco, though. You could tell from most of her emails that I was just a "case number," rather than an actual person. The main part of the interview were two skype interviews: one with the AZ folks and another with the SF folks. I made it to the final round of the hiring process but did not receive an offer. It took them very long to notify me of this, but it was implicit once I didn't hear back by the expected date.

Question 1
"What is one weird/quirky/interesting fact about one of your interests but not having to do with you personally?"
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Yelp (Scottsdale, AZ) in May 2013
Interview
I think that the interviews went well. Had a phone interview that lasted about 10 minutes in which they asked when I was able to come in for an in person. Had an in person with two Ad Operations which lasted a good 30-45 minutes. Asked simple questions, super laid back. I am waiting to hear back if I will be accepted an offer or not.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp (Scottsdale, AZ) in Mar 2013
Interview
First interview was a phone screen from an HR recruiter. Then I was offered an in-person interview which was for an hour, divided between two people. This was followed by a second in-person interview with two more people. Process took a few weeks.
