I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp
Interview
Got a referral from my alumni LinkedIn group. Got a response 3 weeks later. Scheduled a chat with a recruiter from a different location, who then passed my resume to a different office. My interview lasted 5 minutes! And the Interviewer was 15 minutes late. I got super nervous probably because I didn't expect them to call, but when they did, I was not really in the interview zone. Good luck!! Remember to sound confident! Ask questions that show your interest.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yelp (Austin, TX) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
