I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Yelp in Nov 2018
Interview
Another company that doesn't really value hard work or professionalism. Another tech company that places to much on cultural fit instead of it the person can actually do the job. The managers don't even look up to look the interviewee in the eye but will drone on and on about a stupid cafe and barista. Also pays not far from minimum wage so there is no real incentive to taking this job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp (California, MD) in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview with Yelp was relaxed and straightforward. The interviewer was friendly, asked relevant questions, and clearly explained the role and team. Overall, it felt like a positive and comfortable experience.
