I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Yelp (New York, NY) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied online and was contacted later that day to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was the following week. They said it would be 15 minutes, but it lasted over a half hour. I had read reviews about the interview on glassdoor and they were pretty spot on. The interview started with questions about my current role and why I want to work at Yelp. But then a lot of the interview is seeing if you are up for a very heavy cold-calling position, so being enthusiastic about that type of role is important.
