I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ZS Associates (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2024
Interview
Phone screen, fit interview, then long interview with data science task. I didn't pass this, but there would have been more interviews after. Have your environment of choice ready to complete the task so you're not stressed setting it up. Double check times, since they operate from various time zones. Be ready to talk about your completed data task, justifying your choices and discussing what you did and why.
Overall everyone treated me with respect, the recruiter was communicative and didn't waste time, my interviewers were great, and I'm happy I got the chance to interview even though I didn't get an offer. It was my own fault I didn't pass the interview even though I think I would have been a great fit for the actual position.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ZS Associates (Pune) in Jan 2026
Interview
The first round is a discussion about who you are, your previous work experience, the job position, etc. It's comfortable. The second round is the case study by a panel of experts.
Rigorous interview process. You have to learn classical machine learning properly or you will be stuck during the interview. I applied online after my masters so I think the process is a bit different from campus placements
