      Interview

I interviewed with 2 peers over Zoom. Then 2 managers over Zoom. Then 3 Executives in person. The whole process happened within 4 days time. I was asked intriguing questions that made me feel like I was dealing with real people. I felt as though I was interviewing with a company that is fun to work for and that my interviewers were professional, but not stuffy.

      Sales Representative Interview

      Nov 20, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zoom Communications (New York, NY) in Nov 2019

      Interview

I was contacted by the recruiter about a week after I submitted my resume through LinkedIn. We had a 30 minute video call soon after that went extremely well. I then received an email a few days later for 2 more interviews the following week. Both people I interviewed with seemed to be trying to catch me off guard by asking sporadic/irrelevant questions and it really didn't give me an opportunity to go through my work experience in a thorough way. One of the interviewers commented that I had an unusual career path even though it was directly related to the role I was applying to. Overall, it felt off-putting and when I received an email the following day saying they weren't going to continue with my application, I wasn't at all surprised.
