I applied online. I interviewed at Zoom Communications (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
Red Flag City.
I applied off a job site. Spoke with a recruiter got a song and dance about great benefits and stock options. (Recruiter was unable to explain how Zoom's high COVID share price wouldn't make those options worthless post-COVID.) Was told the next step was a 4 hour interview with the team then an interview with the hiring manager??? Interview admitted this was backwards.
Was informed that they wanted me to know the position was on call and that had caused issues before. Was left with the impress on call might mean 24/7, 7 days a week and they hoped someday to do an on call rotation. Inquired about if I'd be on call on vacation and if there was away to have days when I could go hiking or travel?
I never received any response back and I'm pretty happy about that.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Zoom Communications (Pune) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was quiet smooth with timely updates. I was always notified with the regular updates. It was great experience. Even the technical interviews happened as per schedule. I am very happy with the complete process.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Zoom Communications (December Camp) in Apr 2024
Interview
It was very difficult unable to answer any questions interview is totally waste and long process plesse don't interview is a structured conversation where employers assess skills, experience, and personality. It allows candidates to showcase abilities, communicate effectively, and determine if the role and organization suit them.

It is Okay. I do not find the friendly atmosphere. Especially, the people who taken my first round. There were two people joined. And, work environment is also not nice 7 days 12 hours. This is like worst. The manager also seems not friendly.
