I am not pressured. ! we collaborate on almost everything at first. ! I help my boss be better at his job. 4) My English language skills are ! phenomenal. I have a wonderful way with words. ! adequate. I can generally get spelling and grammar right the first time. ! average, but I don’t mind being corrected. 5) When the boss is stressed, it would be best if ! he didn’t take it out on the team. ! we all pitch in to solve his problems. ! he went somewhere quiet to calm down. 6) My tone of voice in business communications is ! professional and succinct. ! friendly and engaging. ! whatever the boss wants it to be. 7) A “Thank You” after a job well done is ! the minimum civility that everyone should be expected to do. ! expected, and required by good manners. ! unnecessary, but occasionally nice. ! unneeded and unprofessional in a business environment. 8) My favorite game or puzzle is ! scrabble, because I have an eloquent mastery of English and a competitive edge. ! a jigsaw puzzle, because it teaches patience. ! poker, because I’m good at bluffing and strategy. ! Grand Theft Auto, because it gives me an outlet for coloring outside the lines. 9) I can learn the boss’ workstyle best if ! I am told it up front, before I waste a lot of time. ! I observe him over time. ! I can interview others who assisted him in the past. 10)I can contribute most in the role of assistant, if ! there’s a stack of assignments waiting for me when I come in. !
