Analytics Interview Questions
"When you apply for a job in the field of analytics, you can expect to be asked technical questions and given math problems that will test your knowledge of statistical math and data management and analysis. The interviewer may test your critical thinking and decision making skills by having you solve word problems on the spot, as you will be expected to know how to gather insights into and draw conclusions from the data you collect on the job. Analytics is a broad field, and the technical questions you are asked will depend on the position you are applying for."

Why Bloomberg/Analytics/Sales
What do you know about Bloomberg?
What types of risk do Bloomberg customers face, and how do they combat these risks?
Role play involving multiple requests for help while at the terminal. One from trader, one from Bank of England analyst and another from hedge fund.
Phone interview: Q. recent financial new that you are following in the markets? Whats the position? why sales? why finance?
What do you think Bloomberg provides for the world? What are we selling?
Describe to me one thing you're following right now in the markets?
Why Bloomberg? Role play with an angry client. Role play with an Equity Viewer problem. Test your language (if you are multilingual they will ask you to explain your last job or something in that language). What is your approach to sales. What is the most difficult thing about the role play. Randomly chosen questions to define two economic terms (these are ridiculously random and out of econ or micro / macro 101 classes). Absolutely NO finance questions. Can you explain the role to us in detail (they want to make sure you know this is help desk without saying it is a "helpdesk" position because they still need to sound fancy.) It is a glorified call center but pitch it as something prestigious.
Why Bloomberg? Why Bloomberg other companies? What do we do? Sell me something. What current events are you following? Sell me a stock? How do you deal with an angry in-patient client?
