They asked mostly behavioral questions, which was surprising because I thought they would primarily focus on criminal law questions. They asked questions like how do you handle stress, how do you manage heavy caseloads, what are your greatest strengths, etc.
The questions were standard. I don't recall any specific ones.

What would you say during cross?
The panel gave me a list of horrible crimes they've defended and asked if I would be able to deal with the psychological impact of such a thing.
How would you handle if you made a mistake?
Why do you want to be a public defender?
If a client says they committed the murder but wants to testify, would you put him on the stand
