I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at bareMinerals (Denver, CO) in Apr 2015
Interview
You have an in-person interview with the store manager and a secondary manager at the same time. You answer questions and even do a pop-quiz type role playing situation that you are graded on out of 100 points. This does not hurt your chances of being hired, but it does give the managers an idea of where you stand/how much you know. Once hired there is a lot of forms to fill out online and within a couple days of receiving all those online forms (such as tax info) you can start working. The first couple days are spent training and going over work-books to teach you everything about the products that you will need to know in order to sell them. Depending on how much you already know, hands on training with customers may happen if you need the help until you are confident enough to be left on your own.
