Bartender Interview Questions
"When hiring bartenders, employers will look for candidates who perform well under pressure, excel at multitasking, and provide excellent customer service. You can expect an interview to consist mostly of behavioral questions such as What would you do with a patron who has had too many drinks? or How quickly can you make a cosmopolitan? Some employers only hire bartenders who have attended a bartending school while other employers prefer to promote their barbacks and cocktail waitresses."

Upon arrival for my first interview and after some brief introductions, I was asked to complete a two page, ~20 question "test." Essentially the "test" was used to determine my understanding of hospitality and service, as well as my knowledge of wines, spirits and meats. After completing the questions, I spoke with the General Manager about my experience and perspective, answer some questions about the same, and was offered the opportunity to ask him questions about the restaurant and its operation.
