How comfortable are you with chasing after kiddos or having to sit, run, bend etc?
They asked a lot of scenario questions "What would you do if a participant did this?" and things like "Tell me about an experience that was really difficult for you and how you handled it?" etc.
Standard: How many years experience? Describe Education? What did you pursue this field? What is the most difficult aspect of field? Describe most difficult patient/client? Describe a situation where you disagreed with supervisor? Describe a situation where a patient/client attempts to malign your supervisor how would you handle that?
(Hypothetical Situation) Paraphrasing: Let's say your kid starts acting out in the middle of a mall because you didn't buy them a pretzel. What would you do?
can you tell me about an experience you had where you had to overcome something challenging with a parent etc.
If a parent sees the therapy session as babysitting services and decides to run errands and leave the house, what would you tell the parent to make them stay?
None, really. But, they were keen on making sure you used "person first" language. Which, I was already familiar with. Remember, person-first...in your other job interviews--not with E S B A.
