Nothing to worry about. Fun day and great opportunity to show skills. No offer but thoroughly enjoyed. Valuable experience and glad I applied for the role, which seemed very interesting.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at bet365 (Stoke-on-Trent, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
Asked to an assessment centre after giving a CV to Bet365 at a careers fair a few weeks earlier.
The assessment centre took place at their stadium in Stoke, it was approx. 9 hours long. Activities included three group tasks (one presentation and two group exercises), a short mental maths test as well as a face-to-face interview. There were many long breaks between exercises, adding to the length of the day. The group tasks were engaging, however I would partly put this down to the rapport that my group had built up fairly quickly. Group tasks included suggesting improvement measures for a failing hotel, an exercise to save people who are stranded in a cave and a negotiation simulation between three fictitious countries.
The assessors turned up late to the start of the assessment day (due to traffic, although all candidates arrived on time) and as a result, the day didn't finish until around 17.45. No offer for a job, and when I asked for feedback, this was refused as it "isn't company policy". Felt like a waste of a day because of the lack of feedback.

Question 1
Most of the interview was centred around past experiences on my CV.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at bet365
Interview
The assessment day was a long and exhausting day. There were different tasks to do including a presentation. The management laughed at our group whilst we were trying to explain our ideas and were really rude towards us throughout this task. Put a negative twist to the day and ruined an already below average assessment day.
