Upon arriving at the stadium, we were directed to sit in an area and got to know each other (the candidates). when the assessors were ready they bought us upstairs and introduced themselves and allowed us to introduce ourselves to them. Following an explanation of the day we were then separated into groups in which we conducted a group-based exercise, which had us showcase our communication and teamworking skills via the allocation of different briefs to all team members and working to provide a solution to the problem outlined by the assessor. following this, half of the room was allocated to group 1 and the other to group 2, group 1 had their in-person interviews conducted whilst group 2 worked on another team-based issue based on a failing hotel. After lunch which was provided by the hospitality staff, Group 2 then went up to do their in-person interviews whilst group 1 did preparation for the aforementioned failing hotel case study. when the in-person interviews were completed, straight away group 1 was taken to complete a finance-based assessment whilst group 2 delivered their presentation on the failing hotel, the finance assessment on this particular day was an exam-style question on quick ratios and their implications to a business. once the time limit was reached, both groups changed places. once these exercises were completed, the final act of the day was to complete a debate exercise as a group to determine who should be saved from a life-or-death scenario. thus concluding the interview, the assessors and assessment day leaders were fantastic, excellent representatives of Bet365 and made the whole process much more enjoyable
