HireVue coding round - Easy Odd/Even related problem and MCQ related to Manual and Automation Testing Cleared above 2 rounds, then they scheduled next interview where it was written all candidates will go through Technical Interview 1, and Technical Interview 2. So, they setup Tech Interview 1 with one Senior Solution Engineer, he was from the place where every company moves their IT operation. So I knew I would not get selected as their nepotism got exposed recently. For the Technical Interview 1; the recruiter asked me setup Selenium/Playwright and Appium beforehand. During the round, at first he gave me 1 problem related to the frequency of String then he shared an APK file and asked to automate the given scenario using Appium. I did not have the setup with Android Studio and all, I only had code setup that I pulled from my github. So, for obvious reason could not complete it. Then he asked me to automate another given scenario using Selenium which I completed for the most part. All within 1 hour 15 mins. Nonetheless, as they had mentioned all candidates who clears HireVuew coding round will go through Technical Interview 1 and 2, so I had hope that perhaps in the 2nd Technical round which they said is more theoretical based on CI/CD, Testing process and all; I could excel since I have good amount of experience in the industry. But to my surprise, they did not move ahead with me after first Technical round. Whenever I had interviews with anyone who is from the so called IT specialist place, I was rejected, on the contrary, with others, especially from the western places, I managed to get multiple offers even in some case where I could not solve the questions entirely.
