Case study where they create a hypothetical business with certain sources of data and a problem and they test your thinking of how you would quantify and solve the problem
1) Baseball ticket case study (expected value of certain scenarios - whether or not you should buy a ticket at the game, watch the game at a friend's house, buy a scalper's ticket, etc.) 2) Coffee shop case study - what data would you use to explore causes of declining revenue and what solutions might you propose 3) Contest sizing exercise - how large a general payout should DraftKings guarantee (given fixed things like payout structure) to maximize how many people will play 4) Behavioral questions - why DraftKings, pitch DFS to someone who has never played, past work experience, etc. 5) Transit exercise - given only that customer satisfaction has decreased, what data points would you need to explore why customer satisfaction has decreased and how might you expect the data to look if visualized for different potential problems with a subway system
