Here's a hypothetical set of observations you make when you're in the field. What is your hypothesis about what you see and how would you test that hypothesis?
There wasn't any technical question, but I had to think about whether I was really zealous about the PhD position when he asked me about it.
Please tell us about a scientific research project you carried out?
Solve differential equations. Work out Fourier Transforms of combinations of functions without explicitly working out the maths. Explain the function of neurons and organisational principles of the nervous system.
