Q: Imagine you've planned all the lessons for the week. At the beginning of the week on Monday there's an assembly that runs longer that usual and cuts into your class time. For that day you have a lesson where a group of students will give oral presentations. When they're finished everyone will take a test. Since the assembly ran longer than usual you don't have as much time as you had planned for both the oral presentations and the test. What do you do? How do you change your lesson plan so you can give everyone the test and not disappoint the students who were looking forward to their oral presentations?
