Tell me about your experience.
They asked very generic and repetitive questions that didn’t justify a six-week process. A few examples: • “Tell me about your IT background and past roles.” • “How do you handle onboarding and offboarding?” • “What’s your experience with security and compliance?” • “Why do you want to work at MinIO?” Nothing original or challenging — just the same basic questions you’d get anywhere. For how long they dragged the process out (including making me meet with the CEO), the questions felt lazy and unorganized.
They asked questions regarding my background, how I would handle certain situations, questions regarding privacy law and IS compliance.
Why am I qualified for the position?
How do you solve problems?
How does one maintain a positive relationship with a wide variety of municipalities at once?
Pretty standard interview questions. Importantly, they asked about international experience since that's what they were really looking for.
