The rejection says they reviewed over 1300 applicants even though the initial email says 600. —————— Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to first apply for this position and second, complete the assignment we gave you. We know you spent a lot of time on the work you submitted and we noticed your effort! We officially had over 1,300 applications so the competition was extremely tough and we spent countless hours reviewing your submission in detail. We apologize it took us so much time to review all submissions, but we wanted to make sure we gave everyone equal time and a thorough review. This is the hardest part of the entire hiring process. But, I regret to inform you that we have decided not to progress further with your application. I wish you every success with your career. If it is ok with you we would like to keep your resume & portfolio on hand. Hadley Designs is growing quickly and we know we will need more designers as we grow. Thanks again for your interest in our company. Sincerely, Josh & Becca
