If production really isn't your thing then you will really need to learn the entire language of film because nothing is what it seems. The world is very fast pace and for some may be hard to keep up.
All four of my interviewers seemed less prepared for the interview than me. The hiring manager seemed very interested in my background; I believe I had more experience than this person, and I was convinced this person wasn't happy in the position they were in.
