Most people, when they look for a new position, are either running away from something or toward something. What are you running from or toward?
Asked everything from my background to how much I knew about the type of patient treated by their department to my vision for the position. Question type depended on the background of the interviewer and varied greatly from personal to technical questions.

The interview process culminated with the question, "What do you want to do here?" - A question that encouraged me to think through all the facets of the company I'd explored and all the areas of need that folks had identified. I was able to really think through where and how my expertise could be best applied to the good of the company - and also ensure I was filling a role that would be both personally and professionally fulfilling.
