They asked me if I know how to organize and keep track of donors' information (this is a basic task that any qualified Development Coordinator would know how to do, much less someone in the role of a Development Director).
I never was asked anything because I was stood up. The Managing Director/ Social Impact Chief Operating Officer ghosted me and never showed up for the virtual interview.

First question out of the gate was, "tell us in your own words what the mission is". Then, "tell us about yourself and why you are interested in this position." This was a highly formulaic interview. If you Google "Development Director Interview Questions" you will find most of the questions they asked. The difference bis that this org seemed to be interviewing so many candidates and in such a rush that they barely connected with me when interviewing. They were much more concerned with numbers (asking a lot of questions) and much less concerned with candidate connection. I'm an expert interviewer and interviewee. This was the worst I've seen in the business.
