I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at dunnhumby (London, England) in Jul 2018
Interview
After undergoing a 3-stages process (phone call, video call and face-to-face interview) in order to apply for a different role, I was told that someone with more experience had been offered the job but I was also asked to apply for another role within the company as the two hiring managers were very impressed with my interview and thought I could be a good match for a different role available at the time. Although lacking formal training and extensive experience in the role, I was encouraged to apply anyway and, after an initial phone interview with the hiring manager, I was asked to attend a face-to-face interview since I was displaying the right set of transferable skills. The interviews for each role were both very pleasurable and enjoyable experiences and I was grateful for the opportunity that I had been given. Unfortunately, 7 weeks have passed since then and no feedback has been provided. Even worse, two emails, sent respectively to the recruiter and to one of the hiring manager, were left unanswered. It is a shame that companies like this do not understand people's deep emotional involvement when going through a recruitment process; that they do not show any respect for such people; that they do not value the huge importance to still provide meaningful and enriching experiences that could be helpful for people’s careers and developments, regardless of whether a job offer is made or not at the end of the process.
We endeavour to provide the best candidate experience and we apologies for the lack of clarity you have experienced. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we would be grateful if you could contact us at recruitment.emea@dunnhumby.com with your details so we can call you to discuss this further.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at dunnhumby (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process includes three rounds:
First Round: Discussion with a Product Manager about your previous experience.
Second Round: A case study presentation to assess your problem-solving and strategic thinking.
They call it 'grilling' but are outright disrespectful in when asking questions and demeaning in the name of putting forward their thoughts.
Final Round: Conversation with the Product Director to evaluate alignment with the company’s vision and leadership expectations.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at dunnhumby (Welwyn, England) in Jul 2022
Interview
They invited me to interview and arranged an interview time, on the day the interviewer said she was having trouble logging in. I suggested we rearrange after 15/20 mins of waiting. I got no response. I then went back to the original email and booked another date for the interview.
The interviewer couldn't have been less interested if they tried. Still not received any response from the meeting.
Whatever they claim to be it certainly isn't a caring, responsible employer. If this is how they act before employing anyone, can you imagine what it's like working for them.
Stay clear.
