Certain questions in the online assessment test the ability of the applicant to correctly identify the intended meaning of an ESL author. For example, a sentence was displayed, written in poor English. I do not remember whether it was a multiple-choice item or whether I had to type it, but they wanted to know what I understood from this sentence and how would I improve it.
