One of the STAR type questions had an additional 3-4 questions built into it and even though I had the interviewee repeat the question, I still kept getting lost in how many follow-up questions there were built into it. It went something like, "Describe a time you relied on outside research to inform a conversation about changing the way something needed to be done at a business; how you brought the research up to various stakeholders; how did your input affect the overall decision making of the stakeholders, and what impacts did it have on the overall trajectory of the business?" Again, I have no idea if this is even close to the actual question they asked because I got so lost in the way it was read off to me that I mostly went total deer in the headlights.
