Realtors, banks, and insurance companies often use fraud analysts to reduce consumer fraud. They work to discover the type and source of fraud by asking questions, filling out paperwork, changing account numbers, assisting with refunds, and alerting proper authorities.
This felt like they are collecting answers from fraud professionals in order to find solutions rather than finding employees, they don't want to pay for consultancy so they "hire". It's also worth mentioning that it took them 3 weeks to reply to 2 small questions i've asked regarding the task.
They asked me about web security , fraud detection on credit card usage, web traffic fraud detection, owasp and they went on to ask me to do sql and python coding in the interview.
