But as a New Hire in the Railroad industry in Train Service expect many questions about previous employment around heavy machinery, 24/7 being on call, working nights, being confident about working with little supervision, and working in ALL types of weather conditions. The railroad will want to know you can work weekends and holidays, and be at work on a 2 hour notice. They will also want to know if you our ready to be away from your family for a long time and how this will effect the work/life balance at home.
