The assignment consisted of four scenario-based questions that required you to produce professional materials suitable for the task. Specifically, the scenarios were: Stakeholder List: You are asked to compile a list of key stakeholders (elected officials, city divisions/agencies, community organizations, user groups, etc.) and their relevance for an upcoming project in the Western Waterfront. The project boundaries are east of the Humber River, west of Ontario Place, and south of Lakeshore Boulevard West. Please refer to this City of Toronto staff report when developing the stakeholder list. Project Update Briefing Slides for Councillor: You are asked to prepare a few PowerPoint slides (maximum of 5 slides) to aid in briefing a local councillor about the Humber Bay Park East Shoreline Maintenance Project and its current construction status. Use the project website as a reference when developing your briefing slides. Essential information to include is a project overview and purpose, scope, schedule/phases, and progress. Coordinating a Meeting Agenda with Senior Leadership: You are tasked with requesting and coordinating agenda items from TRCA directors for an upcoming meeting with the Toronto Water Division at the City of Toronto on August 31. Draft an email to the directors asking for their agenda items, making sure to specify the format and deadline for their responses. This will enable you to prepare the meeting agenda for review and distribution before the meeting. Review of Municipal Council and Committee Agendas: Review the Infrastructure and Environment Committee agenda and identify the items relevant to TRCA.
