Pretty easy first interview, mostly building rapport and telling about the company. Declined pursuing it further, but next steps were a meeting with a coach and then the regional manager.
Declined because (1) it was 100% commission only with a draw (not unexpected); (2) commission was low for the industry for the job being pure commission (35 or 45%, I forget); and (3) the interviewer outright said she had to work a second job on the weekends for a couple of months to pay the bills. No thanks--bad idea to tell me I'll need to get a second job just to be able to do yours, although I appreciate the honesty since it made my decision pretty easy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me something about yourself that's not on your resume.
I honestly was not interested at first, esp after speaking to the person in charge of hiring. They came off as pushy and insincere and kind of bland. I did decide to move forward and had my second interview. The whole interview was the person telling me that I would not be allowed to continue my part time business. These people expect 1000% commitment. I understand being fully committed but pushing someone to get out of a current part time job that doesn't take much time at all, is odd. They ghosted me for a few weeks before finally sending me an email that I had not been chosen. I was at that point committed to joining them. Its odd because my first instinct told me to run away. Just with my limited interactions they are very pushy and dominating. I didn't get a good impression from the beginning.

Question 1
They interrogated me about my side business and stated I would not be able to continue any other business but theirs if chosen. They used scare tactics to push compliance. Honestly the whole interview was focused on telling me I would have to discontinue insurance sales if chosen. Its odd because its not a time consuming side job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at gpac in May 2025
Interview
Everything was explained pretty clearly. I felt it was more of a pitch on gpac's end. I was inclined at first until I heard about the compensation. I didn't think businesses around me would be interested in this type of service.

Question 1
Basic interview questions such as tell me about yourself etc.
All interviews are by phone. Starts with an intake recruiter, then you interview with a manager. Final interview is with a Director. They ask basic questions about why you're interested in the company and what you want to get out of the role. It's good to research the company.
