What three qualities would you like for us to remember about you after this interview? Tell us about a time something went wrong, and how you handled it. The online test involved a case study of a hypothetical grant applicant, asking about whether they'd qualify for the fellowship, which Royal Society fellow you'd choose from a list to interview them, and drafting an email to the fellow inviting them to interview the applicant. This was followed by a spreadsheet exercise that was rather vague in its instructions.

Describe your experience working with grants.
They asked normal questions. I wish they had scheduled the interview after all the assessments were completed. It most likely would have saved me some time.
Do you have experience with the grant writing/application process.
They asked me to complete the development of a brief needs statement (1 to 1.5 pages in length) that would traditionally accompany a grant proposal.
Questions ranged from behavioral related scenarios, grant writing, time management, collaboration, and client-relationship management.
