What does communication mean to you?
Being asked about work/life balance. I feel it is such a great and important question but the answer is so different for everyone. Now that I am at this company I realize that there is a large discrepancy between what different members of the team think the ideal balance is so I am glad they asked me this question in the interview.
Imagine the most boring drivel and banal businessspeak and you get the jist. When you did blah blah blah what was your reaction to some hypothetical action to see your personality.
One interviewer seemed especially friendly and while she said it was off-the-record, she asked me if I had all the money I wanted, what would I do with my life? This is not an especially difficult question, but it seemed unusual since she clearly stated that it was off-the-record. I was suspicious of an "off-the-record" question.

Tell me about a time when you had to coach or councel someone in a difficult situation and how you reacted.
If you were staying at this hotel what would you expect from valet?
