I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at iCIMS (New York, NY) in Apr 2023
Interview
First part of the interview process is getting a screening call from a recruiter. After the call from the recruiter, they give you personality and cognitive test. Which is a strange thing to do but whatever, they also give you 3 question LC style assignment to do. The next step was talking to a manager and the final step at least for me was supposed to be the technical. I say supposed to be because after month of back and forth of interviews the recruiter emailed me with just an automated email saying the role has been canceled due to company reconstruction, followed by canceling all my calendar invites for the final interview. I find it very off putting that I had to email the recruiter to confirm what I read was accurate instead of him just emailing me explaining the situation first and why waste all my time. Overall if you value your time and what to be respected while looking for work, maybe avoid this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They will ask about your background and past experience. Didn't actually get to do the technical so not sure what type of questions they ask.
Average experience 2 rounds first with VP next is the technical interview of 1 HR where you will expect 1 coding question and 1 system design Question both of medium difficulty, overall good panel
Process consisted of a screening call followed by a hiring manager interview, and finally a technical interviewer with two engineers.
While the interviews were engaging and the interviewers were pleasant, the experience dealing with the Talent Acquisition was less than great. Was told the final interview would be a coding interview, but it was actually a technical interview. In addition, I was ghosted by Talent Acquisition for a month after the interview, despite multiple follow-ups.
When candidates invest significant time in the interview process, they deserve basic professional courtesy in return.
