I interviewed for iHerb back in Q1 2021, so my review may not be so relevant anymore. I went through 3 rounds: 1- Recruiter Screening (external recruiter) 2- ~1 hr technical interview 3- Full day round table interview, lasted ~5 hours with short breaks. Overall, I really liked the data science team and their director. They were friendly and professional. Same goes for the HR. However. I already had concerns due to the negative reviews regarding the executive leadership at the company (at the time), so I asked some questions to validate my concerns. Although the interviewers tried to promote the company, I still sensed a feeling of discontent with the executive leadership. It also didn't help that the offered compensation was average, with a lot of question marks around the "phantom" equity value. Please note that this review is based on my experience 2+ years ago, things may be different today. I would have accepted it if the TC was more competitive; such as making the equity significantly (like at least 5 times) higher, or offering more cash, since the equity value involves higher uncertainties than publicly traded companies.
