iRhythm Technologies interview questions

I applied to the role online and was contacted by a recruiter for a phone screen initially. I then met with the hiring manager via Zoom and had two rounds of interviews via Zoom with the product marketing team (3 people) and then other senior leaders (EVP of marketing and leaders in product management and clinical research.) I really liked the team. The talent acquisition folks were very responsive in coordinating the next steps and the hiring manager, product marketing team and EVP were all very sharp individuals but down-to-earth and easy to talk to. They asked good probing questions but also cared a great deal about culture fit (very important) and everyone was a proponent of the company leadership team (also a very good sign.) I had a tough time turning down the role. (I ultimately chose to go with an earlier-stage startup that had a few of my previous colleagues.) Great team working on some exciting things and company seems to be doing well per the stock price and Verily collaboration.

Applied on line through a job board. Was contacted a few days later by a recruiter. Had a phone interview and was told that I'd either have another phone interview or an in-person interview. A week later, I didn't hear anything, so I emailed recruiter. An in-person interview was then set up for a week later. The interview was to be two interview with two three-person panels. I went to interview. Thought the first panel went great. I didn't feel the second panel went so well, as one of the interviews had a sourpuss expression the whole time. Was told I'd hear something one way or the other within two weeks. Two weeks went by, didn't hear anything, so I emailed recruiter. Four hours later I get a response from the recruiter stating that they hired someone else on Friday "who had industry experience". I have four years of "industry experience". Also, I assume that if I hadn't contacted the recruiter, I never would have received a follow-up, so you can put iRhythm on the list of companies that flat out-and-out lie to interviewees.
