What are your salary expectations
They asked about previous projects, skills, experience and clients.
They did ask me why I was leaving my old job, not sure if that’s standard or if they were just curious because the industry is small. I don’t mind this question but was a little caught off guard.
Why do you see yourself working for this company?
Is there anything else you want to tell me that I have not already seen on your resume?
None of the questions were very difficult. Be sure to tell them you can SELL. The bottom line is that's what they want to hear. They want a SALES PERSON with good taste, not a designer.
Describe your passions and how they relate to your interests in design...
Can you walk us through your portfolio? What drew you to a career in interior design? How do you approach the initial phases of a new project? Can you discuss a challenging project you've worked on? How did you overcome obstacles?
Tell me about two projects from the portfolio Have you worked with antiques and bespoke lighting/furniture
