"When applying to be an interior designer at a design firm, you may be interviewed on your personal design tastes, people skills, knowledge of safety codes and regulations, and design experience. The interviewer will want to evaluate your ability to work with clients with diverse tastes to create functional, beautiful, safe living spaces that are as unique as their clients. Bring a portfolio with examples of your work to show the interviewer. Interior designers are expected to have a bachelor's degree with a focus on interior design."

Apart from those usual questions asked at an interview (self-introduction, strengths/ weakness etc), some of the questions I found interesting are: - What are the challenges you have at your current job and how do you deal with it? - What motivates you and how do you keep yourself inspired?

Only questions that I had was when I was taking their edcuational course that was on their computer. Some were easy to follow thru and then there were some that was not clear and managed to follow up on their questions for the test that was given.

Interviews themself were pretty easy and standard questions: - Tell me about your education and work experience - Why do you want to work for us? - Walk me through your portfolio/projects - Where do you see yourself in 5 years? - What's one area of design you enjoy? What's one area you dislike?
