Most questions covered my general background, and interactive discussions about how my skills map to the JD and priorities of the org. Like many candidates I aim to be a superb hire and high-impact first year team member, so mapping my skills to the responsibilities of the role I was applying for was an important part of the interview process for both me and the folks I met in the interviews. Many of the questions revolved around the fit of my goals/needs and the mission of the company. As a mission oriented non-profit this resonated and was expected and welcomed.
