"When you apply to be an intervention specialist, potential employers will use the interview process to determine if you have the patience, compassion, and communication skills to work with addicts and developmentally disabled children. Expect to be asked interview questions that test your ability to stay calm and handle conflict in tense situations. You may be given case studies of clients with various disabilities and asked what you could do to help their families. Most employers will expect you to have a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, and a license is usually required for private practice."

If you do your research on the YV interview process and the models they implement (MST and Intercept model) then you will know what to expect. Scenario questions make up a large portion of phone and face-to-face interview ("How would you handle this situation?")
