Users can't access the Internet. Check to see if the Proxy settings in IE and Mozilla are set to Automatically discover. then troubleshoot ipconfig commands from there after you've done the basic reboots on the pc and switch "If it's All Computers only"
My biggest concerns about the questioning is that it seemed to be very general, which led me to believe that what they were looking for is a person who can take on a lot of work (which I'm very accustomed to), and who can talk other managers into something they don't want to be a part of.
