The previously diligent and communicative tech recruiter vanished, and my existence was seemingly erased from their records. Multiple follow-up emails were met with a deafening silence. This "ghosting," as it has become colloquially known, is not only profoundly unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful of the time and expertise senior candidates bring to the table.
